Who marks a unit vacant?
The property team controls the unit's vacancy state. SpotRentt shows that current state; it does not independently inspect every unit before it appears.
What happens if availability changes after I unlock?
Availability can change. Report the listing in the app if the unit is already taken, duplicated, suspicious, unsafe, or materially different from its description.
What exactly does an unlock reveal?
For that unit, it reveals the defined protected-detail package: street address, exact map point, and the property contact details available for the listing.
Does SpotRentt take part of my rent?
No. You pay the landlord's own payment destination and submit the M-Pesa code for the property team to confirm.
How do I report a suspicious or outdated listing?
Use the report action on the listing and choose the reason that best matches what you found. Support can then review the unit and its vacancy state.
