Privacy

This covers the SpotRentt website — the waitlist and the contact form. The apps have their own privacy terms, which you'll see before you create an account.

• Your email address. Required. It is how we send the confirmation link and the launch invitation.
• What you're joining as — tenant, landlord, agent, mover or other. We open markets by inviting both sides together, so this decides your place in that order.
• Your name, phone number, town and how you heard about us. All optional. Leave them blank and the waitlist works exactly the same.
• A one-way hash of your IP address and a truncated browser user-agent string. We store the hash, never the address itself. It exists so we can spot one source flooding the form.

Two emails. One asking you to confirm the address, and one at launch telling you it's your turn. That is the entire mailing programme.

We do not sell your details, share them with landlords or agents, or add you to a marketing list. Nobody buys their way to your inbox through us.

Your name, email, chosen topic and message are stored so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Nothing more is collected.

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Your light or dark theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage — it never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

Waitlist entries are kept until launch, and for up to twelve months afterwards so we can tell who joined early. Unsubscribing removes you from every mailing immediately. Contact messages are kept for two years.

Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. For a copy of what we hold, or for it to be deleted entirely, email hello@spotrent.app from the address you signed up with and we will action it.

Waitlist and contact data is stored on SpotRentt's own infrastructure. Email delivery is handled by a third-party provider, which necessarily processes the address we send to.

If this page changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you by email.
